Artist's Comments

the Lapras is a large, blue sea creature with a cream-colored underside. It has four flippers and has a purple-ish shell on its back that's dotted with blunt "spikes". Lapras has a long neck, small inflatable organs and a single horn in middle of it's forehead. Lapras swim through the sea in large pods. They keep track of their fellow pod members through use of high-pitched songs they constantly sing, much like whales. Lapras live in cold waters in glacial regions. They are extremely rare due to hunting, and are nearly extinct.
the lapras feed mainly on goldeen, tentacool, seaking, and low flying wingulls.

Dude fantastic, i really like pokerealism. I specially like this one, by far the most realistic lapras ive seen. And the more I look it the more I notice what makes it succesfull, like the folds of skin under its jaw and how its sides are bulging, like a real animal would. Great work.
